About Direqtory

My name is Charnae, the founder and owner behind Direqtory.

Equestrians have no shortage of amazing items and brands to lust over. The riding industry is always updating and innovating, making it very difficult to keep up with all the latest and best. Direqtory is here to keep equestrians up to date.

Direqtory started as a website for me to blog about all the many incredible products, artisans, and brands I’ve come across during my riding career. It was difficult to keep up with all the different brands, their new items, innovative technology, and trends on every different vendors websites, so I decided to put them all on here! The For The Horse, For The Rider, and For The Stable menus above serve as a directory of the top brands in different categories of products. The directory is not exhaustive, but I try to include all brands that I know about and will be adding things all the time (please message me if you find I am missing on of your favorites!).

Inspiration for this website came from frustration, too. While looking for various items, often all I could find was few (often just 1) low-resolution photo of something I was interested in buying, even for some higher priced luxury items. Even if there was a good photo, it was still difficult to evaluate the quality and color. So I’m going to try and post thorough and descriptive reviews with many rich photos so others can know what they’re buying, instead of ordering and hoping it’s as good or what they thought it was.
